Humanity's Team Partners with Association for Global New Thought

Humanity’s Team and the Association for Global New Thought are delighted to announce their partnership promoting Humanity’s Team’s Global Oneness Day celebration and petition in conjunction with AGNT’s Season for Interfaith-Intercultural Celebration.  

Recently, Humanity’s Team announced a first annual Global Oneness Day – October 24th, 2010.  This is also United Nations Day.  In announcing this date, Humanity’s Team said it is fitting these two days are celebrated together because awakening to Oneness opens the door to attaining the United Nations’ long-stated goal of  sustainable world peace, harmony and happiness.  Likewise, upon receiving the Global Oneness Day petition signed by over 50,000 people in over 150 countries, Ambassador Chowdhury, the leading emissary of the U.N. Culture of Peace initiative said, “I believe that unless we have the sense of solidarity among the peoples of the world, all our efforts for peace and security will go nowhere.”

October 24th -- Global Oneness Day -- provides opportunities for individuals, organizations and nations to create practical acts demonstrating unity, diversity, harmony and compassion on a shared date comparable to what happens on Earth Day.  A menu of activities will be circulated shortly.  As part of the day’s celebration, Humanity’s Team is inviting at least 100,000 people to sign a petition declaring our Oneness. As we enter AGNT’s Season for Interfaith-Intercultural Celebration, September – December 2010, join hundreds of task forces around the world in meaningful demonstrations of interfaith and intercultural understanding that are foundational to the global peace-building to which we are so deeply committed.
